House Vagoroth is a casual alliance of like minded gamers who are interested in camaraderie, teamwork, good sportsmanship and having a good time while online. It consists of members who enjoy online gaming but lead full lives outside of the gaming world and consider gaming a hobby rather than an obsession. Our members are likely to be seen working together in pairs or small groups on various game servers and is unlikely to be found en masse on organized ladders and in tournaments.
House Vagoroth was founded by hv HelplessTarget (a.k.a. "HT") and hvPalantirion (a.k.a. "Pal") in 1999. As Founders, we share equal rank and responsibility for The House, maintain and enforce House Rules, oversee recruiting, and appoint officers. Although we initially started House Vagoroth as a Tribe in the online multiplayer game Starsiege Tribes, we have since branched out into other games such as Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Tribes 2, MechWarrior4, Soldier of Fortune (I & II), Counterstrike, and whatever else our members come to enjoy. We are also eagerly awaiting our chance to dominate all comers in the multiplayer version of Doom 3.
Look for our distinctive "hv" tags prefacing our handles in multiplayer online games. Most games allow you to search using some sort of buddy list and the hv should be sufficient to find any of us who are online.
In addition to playing online games, Pal and I have released numerous downloads for gamers, including maps, mods, sound packs, reticules, skins and lots of other useful tools. Feel free to visit our download section and help yourself to anything you like. We only ask that you remember to credit us whenever posting or modifying and releasing our work.
